— Marriott International Group Indonesia once again hosted its annual charity run, Road to Give, this year taking place at Le Meridien Jakarta. The 7-kilometer run through Sudirman Street during Car Free Day, starting at 6:00 a.m., gathered more than 2,500 participants, including employees from 18 Marriott hotels across Jakarta and members of the public.

The event, held within a 90-minute time frame, went beyond fitness — it was a celebration of solidarity and compassion. All proceeds from Road to Give Jakarta 2025 were donated to Solar Chapter and the Maria Monique Last Wish Foundation (MMLWF), founded by Natalia Tjahja.

Led by Le Meridien Jakarta, the event was joined by 17 other Marriott properties such as The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta, The Westin Jakarta, Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City, and Aloft South Jakarta.

> “Road to Give is more than just a run — it’s a movement that represents compassion, collaboration, and community. This year, we are proud to extend our positive impact by supporting Solar Chapter and the Maria Monique Last Wish Foundation,”
said Jennifer Suryadi, General Manager of Le Meridien Jakarta and Co-Chairwoman of the Marriott Indonesia Business Council.

The event also received international support from Singapore, with Leslie Lee, Secretary-General of the National Paralympic Council Singapore, joining as one of the icons of Road to Give Jakarta 2025.

Additional support came from Global Sevilla School Puri Indah (Mr. Randy Guiterez & team), Nagaswara (Mr. Julius Wijaya), Bocorocco Shoes, as well as dear friends from Medan and Bandung — Sebastian Margaretha, Kian Peng, Didrikus Kelana, Hendra WJ, Karin Linggrid Koh, and Eddy — who shared their encouragement and goodwill for this cause.

Among the Indonesian representatives were Siti Marifah, eldest daughter of Indonesia’s 13th Vice President KH. Ma’ruf Amin and female icon of 100 Celebrities Talk for Para Athletes (100 CTFP), along with Jenny O, MMLWF’s Women of the Year 2024, Sylvia Hendarto, MMLWF’s Amazing Women 2024, and Jadrianna Aletta Sutrisno, Co-founder of Rumah Inovasi and Retachar MMLWF. The three women brought extra warmth and inspiration to the event as they joined the charity run — and proudly won medals for their participation and spirit of giving.

> “My deepest gratitude to Ms. Natalia Tjahja, the Marriott Group Indonesia, Le Meridien Jakarta, and all supporters of Road to Give 2025. This inspiring event reminds us of the importance of balancing physical health and inner well-being — essential for building a holistic humanity,”
said Siti Marifah.

> “Running for health while giving back to those in need — especially people with disabilities — reflects true empathy and compassion. The Indonesian anthem’s message, ‘Build the Soul, Build the Body,’ perfectly echoes today’s purpose,” she added.

The Road to Give Jakarta 2025 medalists included Leslie Lee, Siti Marifah, Jenny O, Sylvia Hendarto, Jadrianna Aletta Sutrisno, Najwa Dewi Tanara, Sarjono Sutrisno, Roslina Sutrisno, Arif Badrudin, and Chia Yun Lin.

Closing the event, Natalia Tjahja, Founder of MMLWF, expressed heartfelt gratitude:

> “I thank God and the Marriott Worldwide Business Council Indonesia, especially Le Meridien Jakarta. It was an extraordinary experience — I walked, ran, and even received a medal. The donations from Road to Give will be shared with places where God leads me to give.”
